Calling all Maryland Yalies and their friends and family! We will be having the 10th annual Yale Day of Service on Saturday, May 12th, 2018, so mark your calendars. See below for opportunities in our area:

Blue Water Baltimore (9AM – 12 NOON)

Volunteer with Blue Water Baltimore’s community forestry program! We will learn how to properly care for urban trees and work together with BWB staff on one of their forestry projects in Baltimore City. Activities may include tree planting, pruning, weeding, mulching, or general beautification.  REGISTER here.

We will meet at the Blue Water Baltimore headquarters and then depart to a forestry site from there. Site details will be provided closer to the date. All tools will be provided. No experience is necessary and all are welcome (including children). 

This event will be held rain or shine. If the weather is really bad, we will work indoors at BWB headquarters.

Baltimore Collegiate School for Boys Spring Clean Up (1PM – 4PM)

Volunteer at Spring Clean Up Day at Baltimore Collegiate School for Boys, a public charter school! We will be sprucing up the inside and outside of the building, including painting, planting, scrubbing, decorating classrooms, lining fields, and much more! Lemonade and cookies will be provided.  REGISTER here.
