On July 8th, join YAAM as we see the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company perform William Shakespeare’s final play, The Tempest. The striking outdoor setting is the ruins of the nineteenth century Patapsco Female Institute (PFI) situated high on a hill overlooking historic Ellicott City in Howard County. Bring a picnic supper, a good bottle of wine, and your children or friends and join us for this masterwork that combines fantasy, magic, shipwreck, revenge, and several of Shakespeare’s most memorable characters – the exiled sorcerer Prospero; his brilliant daughter Miranda; the fairy sprite Ariel; and the monster Caliban.
Cost: $34 per person at group rate, with two children’s tickets free with any adult ticket. Picnic tables can be rented for $60 each (in addition to the ticket price).
Please email Jessica (secretary@yalemaryland.org) if you are interested. We have the minimum number of attendees to qualify for the group rate! The deadline for group rate ticket purchase is 6/9/17.
