COMPUTERS – the kind that we hold in our hands or use atop our desks – are a relatively recent phenomenon, but people have been calculating sums for millenia. Learn about the history of computing from the Middle Ages until the present on our tour of the System Source Computer Museum, created by fellow alumnus Bob Roswell (BK ’80). His tour will include abaci, slide rules, mechanical calculators, minicomputers, Apple computers and a computer that tracked Apollo Missions in the 1960s. Can’t wait? A preview of the museum is available online at https://museum.syssrc.com.
