Join fellow Yale alumni/ae and be part of Yale’s worldwide Day of Service. We will be planting trees along with members of the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy in the Loch Raven watershed.

Please feel free to bring your family members (ages 8 and over) to this event. We have space for 25 individuals.

EVENT DETAILS

Date: Saturday, May 7, 2022 (10 am – 1 pm). Please arrive by 9:45 am to sign in. This event is rain or shine.

Location: Loch Raven Skeet and Trap Center: 12301 Dulaney Valley Road, Phoenix, MD 21131 From I-695, take exit 27 –Dulaney Valley Rd. north. Go a few miles over the Loch Raven Reservoir bridge. Bear right at the light after the bridge. Turn at second right into the Skeet and Trap Center. Go to the end of road to the skeet range, and park in parking lot or on the grass on the right side. Sign in at registration table.

The Conservancy is allowing minors (ages 8 – 17) to attend this event as long as there is one parent/legal guardian per four children in attendance. Adults must sign COVID-19 waiver form. Note: Participants are required to wear face masks during this event due to the close nature of the work.

What to bring: Remember to wear boots, pants, long sleeve shirt, hat, gloves, and bring rain gear. Each volunteer will need to bring their own labeled water bottle. Water jugs for refill and packaged snack bars will be provided.
